Tired of Maxine Waters’ ‘Obsession’ with Impeaching President Trump, Social Media Fights Back

How many times have we heard House of Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) speak on CNN or MSNBC about impeaching President Donald Trump?

She takes every opportunity to tell Americans and the world that she wants Trump impeached and even recently called him a “disgrace, liar and a national embarrassment” when she tweeted:

Now it’s Waters’ turn to be in the hot seat as social media calls for her impeachment.

Here are just a few things that those on Twitter using the hashtag #ImpeachMaxineWaters had to say about her on Sunday.

Twitter’s “Politics & Tweets” called her “dangerous” and wondered why she had not helped her district:

Americans like “Shannon” on Twitter, still remember when Waters spoke at a townhall meeting at the Islamic Society of Orange County, California on February 19, 2012 and expressed her agreement with a quote from an American Civil Liberties Union official who said that voting against Sharia Law law was an act of bigotry.

“Maga Cat” cited Waters’ missed roll call votes, claiming they were “way worse than the median 22% among lifetime records of reps currently serving.”

According to a website that tracks government legislation, “from Jan 1991 to May 2017, Waters missed 1,302 of 17,135 roll call votes, which is 7.6%. This is much worse than the median of 2.2% among the lifetime records of representatives currently serving.”

Twitter’s “Sama Ibn Saeed” calls Waters a “poverty pimp” and a “race baiter” after posting headlines from an article on Freebeacon.com.

The January 17, 2017 article reports just how “lucrative” the relationship between Waters and her daughter has been:

“The daughter of Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) was paid nearly $70,000 by her mother’s campaign during the 2016 election cycle.

Karen Waters has been on the payroll of her mother’s campaign committee, Citizens for Waters, since 2006. She has pulled in more than $600,000 for her services since that time.”

Others on Twitter point out the hypocrisy of how some take seriously a call for Trump’s impeachment but ignore the same call for Waters’ impeachment in signs appearing almost side by side.

Even artist Sabo has gotten into the “insanity” of Waters’ continual quest of impeaching Trump by sarcastically creating a sign which states:

“2 scoops of ice cream is not fair. Impeach Trump! Maxine Waters.”

Sabo sign was in reference to the recent media headlines “scandal” after Trump asked for two scoops of ice cream at the White House while everyone else received one scoop.

I feel a request for a safe room at the White House coming on!

It is obvious by the comments that many are fed up with Waters’ “obsession” with condemning Trump without a shred of evidence to support her claims of impeachable offences.

Some words of advice for Waters, if I may:

Be careful what you wish for regarding others, Congresswoman Waters! It just might turn around and bite you!
