As you may know, Disney recently came out with their intentions to “normalize” homosexuality for children when they indicated that “Beauty and the Beast” will feature Disney’s first gay moment.
Christians boycotted Disney for their “bold” move and now another major company is trying their hand at producing a video about homosexuality.
Coca-Cola has a commercial with a hot “pool boy” being fought over by a brother and sister who are both attracted to him.
Each are watching him clean their pool from different vantage points within their home.
As they literally fight to the finish to be the first one to reach the pool boy and offer him a refreshing Coca-Cola, they discover they are too late, when they see him drinking ta coke given to him by the sibling’s mother.
Wow! Coca-Cola didn’t leave anything out, now did they?
Here’s what some are saying about the commercial:
Sibling rivalry never looked more inclusive,” Out Magazine said of the commercial that debuted last week. Marketing Week also approved, according to AOL.com.
“It’s a human story where Coca-Cola plays a key role in the development of the drama,” said Ali Brubaker, senior manager of global brand PR for the company.
“We are managing culturally relevant messages organically within our spots not as the main subject of the story but as sub-text.”
As one of Coca-Cola’s marketing campaigns used to say, “Have a Coke and a Smile,” or maybe not depending upon your point of view.
For many, the corporation’s new commercial doesn’t bring a smile to their face.
