Sounding like a last term governor (thank you), California Governor Jerry Brown (D) said of President Donald Trump’s belief on climate change that Trump doesn’t appear to fear the “wrath of God.”
Brown, who has a pro-abortion stance, said Sunday during an interview on “60 Minutes”:
“I don’t think President Trump has a fear of the Lord, the fear of the wrath of God, which leads one to more humility … this is such a reckless disregard for the truth and for the existential consequences that can be unleashed.”
Brown uses every opportunity to speak about the subject of climate change.
During a press conference on Saturday, Brown used California’s recent wildfires to convince those listening that “carbon pollution” or the “atmosphere absorbing heat trapping gases” is the cause of the fires even though there has been no official reason given as to how or why the fires started in the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, San Diego and Santa Barbara.
Brown would have you ignore the fact that people may have intentionally or unintentionally set the fires downed power lines may have led to the fires (as was the case in San Diego in 2007) or there could have been any number of natural or artificial culprits which ignited the flames.
In common sense terms, last years wet winter caused more plant growth which dried up as the seasons changed.
Santa Ana warm winds blowing off of the desert with low humidity, set the stage for fire devastation.
Currently, the firefighters are too busy fighting the fires to determine who or what started the fires. Apparently, Brown isn’t too busy.
Brown reiterated on Saturday that the problem was “global” in nature and one that he has taken an “international role” in helping to “cut green house gases.”
Brown said the fires are a “new normal” residents can expect because of ignoring climate change and man-made global warming.
He also said:
“With climate change, some scientists are saying that Southern California is literally burning up. So we have to have the resources to combat the fires and we also have to invest in managing the vegetation and forests … in a place that’s getting hotter.”
Don’t worry. Brown has determined that he must now “manage the forests better” and of course, he’s working on a way to do just that.
“Managing the forests better” is Democrat code for “land grab.”
Are you ready for more government control and taxes Californians because under Brown they go hand-in-hand.
Contrary to what Brown says, the U.S. government’s National Climate Assessment reported that it looked at the connection between global warming and western U.S. wildfires and found a “low to medium confidence for a detectable human climate change contribution” in the region.
The report also found a slight decrease in the number of large wildfires from California’s coastal region from the south to about mid-state.
Despite the facts, Brown is proud of his views on climate change and his decision to stay the course of the Paris accord even though the United States has given it a resounding “no” to it.
Earlier in the year while meeting in Vatican City on climate change, Brown appeared ready to convince the world that he is right on climate change and believes the only way to bring about “transformational change” (sound familiar?) is by including the mass mobilization of the religious, theological and prophetic sphere:
“The problem … is us. It’s our whole way of life. It’s our comfort … It’s the greed. It’s the indulgence. It’s the pattern. And it’s the inertia.”
He continued, taking a “transhumanist” and new world order approach:
“The power here is prophecy. The power here is faith, and that’s what this organization is supposed to be about. So, let’s be about it and combine with the technical and the scientific and the political.”
“At the highest circles, people still don’t get it. It’s not just a light rinse” that’s required. “We need a total, I might say ‘brain washing.’
“We need to wash our brains out and see a very different kind of world.”
No thanks, Jerry. I’ll skip the brain washing.
Now back to reality!
