Hypocrisy: the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one’s own behavior does not conform; pretense. Democrats in Congress have shown hypocrisy at its “finest” during the handling of the Judge Brett Kavanaugh confirmation.
If you look up the definition pf “hypocrisy” in the Webster’s Dictionary or any other dictionary for that matter, you just might see a familiar Democratic member of the U.S. Congress’s picture next to it.
In fact, the first person you might see is none other than “Spartacus” Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and here is why.
Recently, an accuser stepped forward claiming that Kavanaugh had “groped” her at a party when she was 15-years-old and he was purportedly 17 years-old.
Once the accuser’s letter reached Feinstein in July, Feinstein sat on the letter until the “final hours” before the vote was to be taken for Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
What followed over the last several days could be likened to a three-ring circus.
The accuser at first indicated she would testify then claimed she couldn’t testify until an FBI investigation had been conducted (which “coincidentally” was timed with the same request made by Democrats).
Next, the accuser said she would not appear at the hearing scheduled by Republicans for Monday but then changed her mind saying through her attorneys that she would testify at a later date as long as certain “fairness” requirements were met.
Late Thursday, new demands were issued by the accuser’s attorneys, including 1) not allowing Kavanaugh to be in the room with the accuser, 2) no attorneys can ask the accuser questions and 3) Kavanaugh would have to testify first which is contrary to what is done in a court of law so that the accused can defend against accusations.
What has stayed consistent over the past several days, however, is that Kavanaugh has been condemned by many in the Democratic Party especially by women such as Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) who have been the most vocal.
Immediately, they took the side of Kavanaugh’s accuser.
Each in their own way ignored the U.S. Constitution and rendered Kavanaugh “guilty” because they believed the accuser (without evidence or corroboration) and even despite the fact that Kavanaugh and two other men the accuser claimed were at the infamous party indicated that they weren’t at the party the accuser claims they attended.
Kavanaugh also indicated that he was never at the party mentioned by the accuser and he never did what she is accusing him of doing.
Where does Booker figure into all of this you may ask? Well, it seems that “those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.”
In a nutshell, Booker who was among those Democrats urging the Senate Judiciary Committee to first let the FBI conduct an investigation, admitted in a 1992 column he authored, that when he was 15-years-old, he had “groped” a female friend’s breast without her consent and after she had “pushed” his “hand away.”
Here is how Booker described the encounter with a female friend:
“New Year’s Eve 1984 I will never forget. I was 15. As the ball dropped, I leaned over to hug a friend and she met me instead with an overwhelming kiss. As we fumbled upon the bed, I remember debating my next ‘move’ as if it were a chess game,” Booker wrote in the student-run Stanford Daily newspaper in 1992.
With the ‘Top Gun’ slogan ringing in my head, I slowly reached for her breast. After having my hand pushed away once, I reached my ‘mark.
Our groping ended soon and while no ‘relationship’ ensued, a friendship did. You see, the next week in school she told me that she was drunk that night and didn’t really know what she was doing.”
How do those claiming to support the #MeToo movement feel about Booker’s description of the incident and what he did?
Kavanaugh is being accused of “groping” at age 17 and yet an FBI investigation is being demanded.
And, because of an event that is alleged to have occurred 35 years ago between minors (and not a federal offense as the DOJ has indicated) Kavanaugh isn’t fit to be a U.S. Supreme Court Justice.
If that is the case, then applying Liberal “logic”, Republicans should immediately call for the resignation of Booker because he is not fit to be a U.S. Senator.
Also, there’s no need for an FBI investigation beforehand Booker resigns because he admitted to the “wrongdoing.”
Booker is rumored to want to run for president.
Will the mainstream media question his qualifications under the #MeToo standards or is that off limits when it comes to Democrats?
And, then there is another Congressman, U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) whose alleged “incident” is not even being mentioned by Democrats.
Not one of the same Democratic female congresswomen who say they believe Kavanaugh’s female accuser, is stepping forward to say they support Ellison’s female accuser.
In short, Ellison is being accused by his former girlfriend of physical abuse that the accuser’s adult son claims he saw in a video that the accuser had on her computer.
Ellison’s accuser even went so far as to post on Twitter what she claims are her medical records from 2017 depicting the “physical abuse” she claims she suffered.
She names “congressman Ellison” as the “partner” who physically abused her.

Where are the cries for Ellison’s accusers opportunity to tell her story?
Ellison’s accuser also claims that in 2017:
“I told the investigator I would be happy to talk with
@keithellison w/ them in the room. They asked Keith if he would be willing & he declined any meeting w/ me.”

When she was asked if she was believed by Minnesota Farmer Labor Party who endorsed Ellison to run for Minnesota Attorney General and the Democratic National Committee she said:
“No, they don’t. I’ve been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party. I provided medical records from 2017, stating on two different Dr. Visits, I told them about the abuse and who did it. My therapist released records stating I have been dealing and healing from the abuse.”

A female accuser has been “smeared, threatened, isolated” from her own Democratic Party?
And again, where is the one of the biggest hypocrites, Hirono, who recently said:
That she expected “the enlightened men in our country” to “rise up to say, ‘We cannot continue the victimization and the smearing of someone like Dr. Ford.'”
If it isn’t ok to smear Dr. Ford, is it ok to smear Ellison’s accuser, Sen. Hirono? When will you come to her defense?
Or did Hirono suddenly just “shut up” like you told the men to do when it comes to issues of sexual misconduct.
How much longer will Republicans be played by this egregious display of hypocrisy on the part of Democrats?
Many recognize that none of what the Democrats are doing is based in reality when it comes to Kavanaugh.
They are creating chaos only because they don’t want a conservative from getting on the U.S. Supreme Court and everybody knows it.
