Jim Acosta of CNN Makes a ‘Fool’ of Himself…Again!

Every family has at least one. You know what I’m talking about. That one relative who shows up at the wedding, gets inebriated and then starts shouting out inappropriate comments that has everyone on edge wondering who invited him or her to the celebration. That “relative” on Monday was none other than “Uncle” Jim Acosta, reporter for CNN. Only Acosta wasn’t inebriated. So, there is no excuse for his behavior.

The annual Easter Egg Roll is an annual tradition at the White House. It’s a festive occasion attended by the President, First Lady, their family members and many invited children.

As President Trump, First Lady Melania and their 12-year-old son Baron were seated at tables with the young children gathered around to enjoy coloring, Acosta decided it was time to make his move.

Acosta yelled from the sidelines to Trump:

“Mr. President, what about the DACA kids? Should they worry about what is going to happen to them, sir?”

Trump responded that the Democrats had let the Dreamers down and went back to coloring with the children.

At this point, anyone else would have let it go, but not “Uncle” Jim.

Ignoring the fact that Trump had once given Democrats a great deal on DACA, Acosta yelled aggressively at Trump:

“Didn’t you kill DACA, sir? Didn’t you kill DACA?”

Wait, what?

Did it occur to Acosta that little children might be frightened by an adult yelling “Didn’t you kill DACA?”

Oh that’s right. Acosta is an “ace” reporter who has to get the story at all costs.

In fact, Acosta later responded to criticisms of his inappropriate Easter Egg Roll behavior by tweeting:

“Just doing my job…which is protected by the First Amendment of The Constitution. You might want to give it a read.”

Maybe Acosta can exercise his First Amendment rights under the U.S. Constitution at the White House Christmas party this year.

There will be plenty of families with small children in attendance. It will give Acosta the chance to yell out to Trump, “Mr. President, when did you find out that Santa Claus wasn’t real?”

It’s one thing to be a good reporter who is digging for truth and real answers. But it’s quite another thing when all you are doing is stroking your own ego and trying to keep yourself in the limelight.

Sebastian Gorka, Fox News National Security Strategist said about Acosta’s outbursts:

“Despicable. @Acosta is a self-aggrandizing activist hack. And @CNN has lost all pretense of being a provider of news.

Timing is everything Jim! Next time, wait to ask those kinds of questions during White House Press briefings or at least events in which small children aren’t in attendance.

The sad part is that most likely, CNN considers Acosta their “go to” top reporter.

Perhaps it’s time for the White House to strip Acosta of his Press credentials until he can at least “sober” up?
