Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) appeared on MSNBC over the weekend and as usual expressed her feelings of disdain toward President Donald Trump. Waters was being interviewed on the illegal immigrant children at the border.
Waters who makes no secret of her desire to “Impeach 45” has obviously lost any objectivity toward Trump that she may have once held (I seriously doubt she ever did).
Now she is directing her irrational hatred toward those who work for Trump, as well.
During her interview, not unexpectedly when answering questions on the border, Waters didn’t speak about the existing laws which were created to protect illegal immigrant children from sex traffickers and pedophiles.
She also failed to mention the recent Executive Order signed by Trump to reunite the illegal alien children with those claiming to be their parents following the outcry of the liberal Left who may have “unintentionally” placed the children in harms way.
The conversation quickly turned to Democrats in Congress who are demanding the resignation of the Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and the harassment Nielsen and White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders have encountered because of Liberals’ “tolerance” toward others.
Nielsen and Sanders were both recently discriminated against in restaurants due to their positions within the Trump administration.
On Saturday, the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia booted Sanders out of their establishment because they do not like Trump’s policies.
Sanders later tweeted about the unfair treatment she received:
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so

During her interview, Waters was asked if she would be adding her name to the list of Democrats who wanted Nielsen to resign.
In addition, she was asked what she thought about the recent harassment the two Trump administration women had endured while dining out.
Not surprisingly, Waters indicated she would join with other Democrats in calling for Nielsen’s ouster.
Waters then had the following to say about the “tolerant” Lefts’ attitude toward those in the Trump administration:
“I have no sympathy for these people that are in this administration who know it’s wrong for what they’re doing on so many fronts. They tend to not want to confront this president or even leave, but they know what they’re doing is wrong. I want to tell you, these members of his cabinet who remain and try to defend him, they won’t be able to go to a restaurant, they won’t be able to stop at a gas station, they’re not going to be able to shop at a department store. The people are going to turn on them. They’re going to protest. They’re absolutely going to harass them until they decide that they’re going to tell the president, ‘No, I can’t hang with you.’ This is wrong. This is unconscionable. We can’t keep doing this to children.”
Waters, a member of Congress and a representative of the Democratic Party, could have taken the opportunity to call for calm and level heads.
Instead, “she went low” and chose not to condemn the discriminatory and even potentially unlawful actions that have been shown by liberals against conservative women in the administration.
By not condemning the actions, Waters sends a message that she condones such behavior.
