New Allegations About Comey’s Handling of Hillary Emails Point to ‘Sham’

james comeyIt stands to reason that major decisions shouldn’t be made without knowing all of the facts. Why then did former FBI Director James Comey take crucial steps before knowing the facts?

It is being alleged that long before any key witnesses were interviewed, Comey made the decision not to refer Hillary Clinton for prosecution, according to new transcripts revealed in a letter to current FBI Director Christopher Wray on Thursday.

The letter was sent to Wray from the Senate Judiciary Committee who asked for an explanation and additional documents.

Members of the Committee allege Comey made his mind up before the criminal investigation about then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s alleged mishandling of classified information had even concluded.

The letter from the Committee dated, August 30, 2017 states in pertinent part:

“According to the unredacted portions of the transcripts, it appears that in April or early May of 2016, Mr. Comey had already decided he would issue a statement exonerating Secretary Clinton.  That was long before FBI agents finished their work.  Mr. Comey even circulated an early draft statement to select members of senior FBI leadership.  The outcome of an investigation should not be prejudged while FBI agents are still hard at work trying to gather the facts,” the letter, signed by Chairman Chuck Grassley and Committee member Lindsey Graham states. “Conclusion first, fact-gathering second—that’s no way to run an investigation.  The FBI should be held to a higher standard than that, especially in a matter of such great public interest and controversy.

“It is unclear whether the FBI agents actually investigating the case were aware that Mr. Comey had already decided on the investigation’s outcome while their work was ongoing. However, it appears that the answer to that question may be underneath some of the extensive redactions that the Department made to the transcripts.”

In June 2017, you may recall Comey testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee that he purposely leaked information to ensure that a special counsel would be appointed to investigate President Trump possible connection with Russia collusion.

Comey orchestrated a plan that he hoped would indict Trump in wrongdoing.

The latest announcement appears to have irreparably tarnished Comey’s credibility.

Tom Fitton, President of Judical Watch made his opinion clear with a tweet on Thursday about allegations of Comey’s hasty actions regarding Hillary:

Today’s revelation that Mueller conducted a sham investigation should spur @RealDonaldTrump to order DOJ to review Clinton investigations.

Fitton’s statement and Rep. Dana Rohrbacher’s (R-Calif.) interview with Sean Hannity should raise many questions that must be addressed by Republicans.

On Wednesday, Rohrabacher spoke with Hannity about his meeting with Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

Rohrabacher flew to London to interview Assange about the Hillary Clinton emails Assange published during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Rohrabacher told Hannity that after speaking with Assange, he is “99 percent” certain that the Russia collusion narrative is a lie.

Where does this information leave the Mueller investigation against Trump now that it has been revealed Comey didn’t wait for information about possible wrongdoing before clearing Hillary?

It should end with Mueller being fired, Comey being investigated for a possible conspiratorial indictment in addition to other charges and a thorough investigation of Hillary Clinton.
