Official White House Tweets Turn the Tables on Liberal Democrats

The Left generally takes a “do as I say, not as I do” approach when dealing with conservatives. Monday was no exception. When the official White House Twitter account called out two Democrats, other Leftists weren’t happy.

Over the weekend, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) joined in with some of her colleagues and called for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to be abolished.

Speaking at a rally in Boston, Warren said:

“The president’s deeply immoral actions have made it obvious we need to rebuild our immigration system from top to bottom starting by replacing ICE with something that reflects our morality and that works.

President Trump seems to think that the only way to have immigration rule is to rip parents from their family, is to treat rape victims and refugees like terrorists and to put children in cages,” she continued. “This is ugly and this is wrong and this is not the way to run our country.”

On Monday, the official White House Twitter account responded to Warren’s “rally cry” by asking Warren why she supports criminals:

“., why are you supporting criminals moving weapons, drugs, and victims across our nation’s borders? You must not know what ICE really does. Here is a link to help you out:”

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) also joined other Democrats to voice her opinion that ICE should be “criticaly re-examined,” stopping short of calling for a total end to ICE.

Harris said:

“I think there’s no question that we’ve got to critically re-examine ICE and its role and the way that it is being administered and the work it is doing,” she told MSNBC. “And we need to probably think about starting from scratch.”

Once again, the White House Twitter account responded to Harris’s tweet and asked her the following question:

“., why are you supporting the animals of MS-13? You must not know what ICE really does. Here is a link to help you out:”

Almost immediately, following the tweets to both Warren and Harris, NBC News Chief Andrea Mitchell accused the “attack” on the senators as being “questionable on ethical and legal grounds.”

Perhaps Mitchell should have checked with archives from the official White House Twitter account when the following tweet was sent out specifically to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell about Obamacare when McConnell called for its full repeal.

Remember, it’s always ok when the Liberals do it but it’s considered “unethical” or worse when Dems get a taste of their own medicine.
