Sen. Feinstein Pulls ‘Anita Hill’ Move to Keep Kavanaugh Off of Supreme Court

Sen. FeinsteinOn Thursday, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the senior Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee may have just proven that when Democrats go low, they go really, really low.

In what appears to be the most desperate move on record to date for Democrats, Feinstein reportedly referred information pertaining to Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, President Trump’s nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, to federal investigators in what is reminiscent of a last minute ‘Anita Hill’ move.

Feinstein would not go public with the information but according to The New York Times, “two officials” familiar with the matter said the information pertained to “possible sexual misconduct between Kavanaugh and a woman when they were both in high school.”

The two officials were of course, “anonymous” as most of the NYT’s sources seem to be these days.

Feinstein said in a statement:

“I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities.”

According to what is being reported, the information about the allegation of sexual misconduct was first sent to the office of Representative Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.) and was then forward to Feinstein in JULY.

In case it’s not obvious, this means that Feinstein sat through several committee hearings on Kavanaugh, moved to subpoena records and heard objections by Democrats who wanted practically all records ever written or recorded about, by and to Kavanaugh even if that information was confidential, privileged or otherwise unavailable, while saying ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO NO ONE ABOUT THE LETTER SHE HAD RECEIVED.

That is not until Wednesday evening when she shared the information (but not the letter) with fellow Democrats who suggested she go public and turn it over to the FBI.

The FBI confirmed in a statement that they had received Feinstein’s referral and included it in the Kavanaugh background file that they have been working on. They also indicated that NO CRIMINAL investigation had been opened on the matter.

Feinstein needs to answer the following question:

  1. If the letter contained information of sexual misconduct, why did she hold onto it until now? Why would she not deliver the information immediately to the FBI so that they could thoroughly investigate it?

In other words, if Feinstein believed the allegations of sexual misconduct were true she would have given the information to the FBI at once. The credibility of the claim (from Kavanaugh’s high school days) and the action or the inaction of Feinstein are suspect.

But is there another reason Feinstein held onto the letter for so long?

Yes and here’s why.

On Thursday, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), chairman of the Judiciary Committee, took a vote and it was decided over objections by the Democrats using every stall tactic they could think of, that a vote on Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court would occur on September 20.

Since all ploys by the Democrats to stall or postpone the vote until after the mid-term elections in November when they hope to win the majority seats in the House, Feinstein had one last card to play and that was the “Anita Hill” card of desperation.

It was Feinstein’s “insurance policy” similar to the one FBI agent Peter Strzok allegedly played to insure that if President Donald Trump was elected, his presidency could be obstructed.

As you may recall, in 1991, Democrats tried to thwart Justice Clarence Thomas’s appointment to the Supreme Court by calling Anita Hill to testify.

Hill claimed that Thomas, her supervisor at the time had sexually harassed her.

Democrats put on a “three-ring circus” and the American public heard testimony about a number of claims including Hill’s assertion that Thomas put “pubic hair on her coke.”

Thomas called the hearings a “high-tech lynching for uppity blacks” by white liberals who were seeking to block a black conservative from taking a seat on the Supreme Court.”

Thomas was confirmed despite Hill’s testimony and four other female witnesses in the waiting who were never called to testify.

Democrats are even more desperate than they were during the Thomas confirmation hearings.

Democrats are now reaching for the “absurdity” having run out of excuses not to vote yes or no on Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

What’s worse is that Democrats are now using last ditch efforts to deny Kavanaugh a seat on the Supreme Court by alleged events from his HIGH SCHOOL days.

Hill and Thomas were both adults when the allegations were to have occurred.

Kavanaugh and the “anonymous” “woman” were reportedly in high school.

Were they even adults (age 18) or were they minors?

My next question to Democrats is:

2. Will there be any people stepping forward to claim sexual misconduct on the part of Kavanaugh from his kindergarten class?

Democrats have really sunk to a new low but it most likely won’t be the last time.

On a side note. Since Feinstein is running for re-election as U.S. Senator for California.

Perhaps the American public should demand her records from high school so that they can be used to decide whether she is fit to be re-elected. #smh
