(Video) CNN’s Jim Acosta Wanted President Trump’s Attention, He Got It!

Warning: Buckle up for snarkiness!

Poor Jim Acosta, CNN’s Senior White House Correspondent and possibly Chief #Whiner among those in mainstream media, just can’t seem to catch a break from the Trump administration. It’s often hilarious! Monday was no exception.

Acosta who appears to want his 15 minutes of fame more than most, once again brought negative attention to himself.

Trump. top members of his administration and members of the press corps had gathered for the signing of an order which calls for a thorough review of Chinese trade practices. The order could give Trump the power to retaliate if it is found that China engaged in unfair trade practices.

Specifically, the order calls for an investigation into whether China committed theft of intellectual property.

Trump indicated during the briefing that this type of wrongdoing costs U.S. businesses billions of dollars.

While everyone was focused on Trump’s launch of a probe into China trade, Acosta was focused on the “gotcha” question he could throw at Trump.

Mainstream media has been complaining since Saturday that Trump didn’t go far enough when he condemned the criminal acts in Charlottesville without specifically mentioning “white supremacists” during a brief press conference in New Jersey where he was vacationing.

Earlier on Monday, Trump held another short press conference, this time specifically using the exact words those on the Left wanted him to say.

Trump said in reference to Charlottesville:

“Racism is evil — and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”
Most conservatives knew that the next ‘dumb’ question mainstream media would ask Trump was, “What took you so long to denounce white supremacists?”
Enter Jim Acosta.
Acosta stood up at the end of the news briefing and shouted at Trump who was leaving the room, asking him to explain why it took him two days to condemn white nationalist groups in Charlottesville.
Trump quickly responded, “They’ve been condemned. They have been condemned.”
Acosta continued to press Trump, demanding to know why he wasn’t holding a press conference to take further questions on Charlottesville from the press.
Always able to come up with a quick response, Trump looked right at Acosta (but Acosta was out of the view of the camera. Sorry Jim Acosta the cameras were pointed at the President) and said:

“It doesn’t bother me at all, but I like real news, not fake news. You’re fake news.”

As Trump said “You’re fake news,” he pointed his finger directly at Acosta.

Instead of sitting down, remaining silent and “licking his wounds,” Acosta made one more attempt at getting noticed when he shouted back at Trump:

“Haven’t you spread a lot of fake news yourself, sir?”

Trump ignored Acosta’s retort and walked out.

Acosta tweeted about his exchange with the President to his many left-leaning followers:

Tomorrow’s a new day and another opportunity for mainstream media correspondents like Jim Acosta to once again become part of the news rather than someone who reports the news.
