Sometimes in the midst of darkness, God sends His angels to provide encouragement.

That’s exactly what happened in Houston, Texas as Victoria White began singing “Spirit Break Out” with a choir of others around her on Tuesday night.

Marquist Taylor and Victoria White who works as an admissions counselor at Sam Houston State University, have been taking “Shelter Worship” to those who have been evacuated from their homes and are temporarily in shelters.

In the video, White leads the group while Taylor and others on the team sing along. The extended version of the video has them singing other popular Christian songs such as “How Great is Our God.”

Taylor and White who have been somewhat spared from the devastation of Harvey, said they were just trying to encourage others who had lost everything.

WARNING: This touching moment is sure to bring tears to your eyes!

According to Taylor and White, the idea of “Shelter Worship” derives from Isaiah 32:2:

“Each one will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.”

Taylor also said they offer prayer to people who need it.

God Bless those in Texas as well as the rescuers who have gone there to help!

And, pray for people in Louisiana who have not been spared from Harvey.
