Until recently, I thought Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif. and presidential ‘wannabe’ was one of the rudest people I’ve ever seen interview someone who was called to testify at a hearing. That was until recently when I heard Maxine Waters, D-Calif.
You may recall how Harris grilled former Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly about sanctuary city policy.
Harris interrupted Kelly numerous times, failing to allow him to respond to her questions.
At one point, after she had cut him off to say a few disparaging words about her belief that President Trump was forcing cities into choosing between complying with federal law or forfeiting funds, a frustrated Kelly said “Had you not cut me off, I would have said the same thing you just said. Probably not as eloquently, but I would have said the same thing you just said.” Harris proceeded to continue to interrupt him throughout the remainder of questioning.
While Harris may have topped the charts for “rudeness,” she has been replaced by someone who is a pro at being rude, not to mention just plain annoying. I’m speaking of Maxine Waters, of course.
Is it a coincidence they’re both from California?
Recently, during a House Financial Services Committee hearing, in Waters’ typical convoluted style, she began questioning Secretary of Treasury Steven Mnuchin about what else, Russia and Trump.
Both Trump and Russia have become Waters’ favorite subjects after she announced that Russia invaded “Korea” and continually calls for Trump’s impeachment.
Waters claimed in April 2017 that she did not call for Trump’s impeachment even though there was a video of her doing so.
Waters’ questions to Mnuchin were long, confusing and at times, based on hypothetical claims which she was using apparently in hopes of implicating Trump in wrongdoing. All claims were lacking facts, of course.
I know what you’re thinking. Typical Maxine.
Each time Mnuchin started to answer Waters in a way she didn’t like, she would yell “Reclaiming my time. Reclaiming my time.”
Apparently, Waters wanted to insure that Mnuchin wasted no time in responding to her questions because she wanted as much of her time as possible to be used on “asking the questions,” not hearing the responses.
A young gospel singer was inspired by the “comedy” of it all, my words not his, and decided to make a song about the whole ordeal.
It’s great and beats listening to Waters any day of the week.

Our beloved “Auntie” Maxine Waters laid this sermon down so good that I had to sing about it! Whenever anybody tries to distract me or block me (even with praise or platitudes) I’m gonna have to let them know that I’m #ReclaimingMyTime!!!!!!! #acapella#soul#gospel#maximewaters#auntiemaxine#reclaiming#mytime#representative#ellen#broadway#fallon#kimmel#comedy#belting “
